The Principles of vastu shastra

India in the richness of its culture and tradition has some helpful tips to share with us on how we can design our homes or any kind of building for that matter. It lies in the basic principle that for man to get the maximum benefits of life’s energy giving sources, he must keep his bodily placement in balance with nature. The guiding principles are embodied in the ancient tradition known as Vastu Shastra.

Roughly translated " Vastu means land to live on and Shastra has reference to harmony and balance of man with nature ". Vastu Shastra teaches us on how we can lay out our house design so that we as human beings can get the maximum benefits of the natural forces given-off by nature. Basically, this system deals with the five elements in Indian Mythology namely, air, water, earth, fire, and sky which are believed to be sources of natural power.

Astrology

The study of the movements and positions of the sun, moon, planets, and stars in the belief that they affect the character and lives of people.
Astrology is a method of predicting mundane events based upon the assumption that the celestial bodies—particularly the planets and the stars considered in their arbitrary combinations or configurations (called constellations)—in some way either determine or indicate changes in the sublunar world.
Western astrology is largely horoscopic, that is, it is a form of divination based on the construction of a horoscope for an exact moment, such as a person's birth as well as location (since time zones may or may not affect a person's birth chart), in which various cosmic bodies are said to have an influence. Astrology in western popular culture is often reduced to sun sign astrology, which considers only the individual's date of birth (i.e. the "position of the Sun" at that date). Astrology is the belief that the alignment of stars and planets affects every individual's mood, personality, and environment, depending on when he was born.

What are the 12 houses of astrology

  • If you’ve ever looked up your birth chart, you’ve likely been met with the image of a zodiac wheel divided into twelve sections. But the zodiac wheel is the actual birth chart! Those 12 sections of the chart are the 12 astrological houses, each representing different topics in your life.
  • THE 12 HOUSES OF ASTROLOGY: EXPLAINED You now understand that the 12 houses divide the birth chart into sections and speak to different topics in your life. Now the question is which topics does each house represent? The houses cover all areas of life, from personal growth (self, pleasure, travel), to survival methods (money, labor, career), to relationships (siblings, partnership, friends), to the existential (ancestry, loss and self-undoing).
  • The houses found below the horizon (1 through 6) deal with private matters in our life, while the houses found above the horizon (7 through 12) deal with more public matters in our life. Those on the eastern side of the chart (10, 11, 12, 1, 2, 3) are about personal development ,while houses on the western side of the chart (4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9) are about interpersonal development. The houses’ individual meaning derives from their relationship with the other houses, each building upon each other.

Numerology

Much like astrology, numerology holds that your birthday says something essential about your personality. More broadly, adherents of numerology believe that numbers, and the associations between them, are mystical and meaningful. Some people believe they can be used to predict the future; others consider numbers largely symbolic.
Everything in the universe has an energy vibration – and numbers are no different. In fact, in Numerology every number (and letter) has its own unique vibration that has an influence upon the story of your life. Therefore, numerology is the study of the relationship that numbers and letters have with our personality and life events.
It is an ancient metaphysical science that reveals the blueprint of every human being’s life and it is one of the most accurate and powerful self-help tools available today.

How do i calculate my life-path number

Healing may be operationally defined as the personal experience of the transcendence of suffering. Physicians can enhance their abilities as healers by recognizing, diagnosing, minimizing, and relieving suffering, as well as helping patients transcend suffering. There are two main types of healing, primary intention, and secondary intention. In both types, there are four stages which occur: haemostasis, inflammation, proliferation and remodelling.

Chakras!

A fascinating concept.
The understanding of the flow of energy in your body. It is something you must’ve heard about if you ever went to yoga or a meditation class, or perhaps watched online videos on spirituality or even a peaceful healing session of reiki. Irrespective of the source of the knowledge, it is common knowledge that it is important to keep your chakras open, or unblocked.
Before getting to that part, let’s get a more clear understanding on what chakras are and what are their effects on your physical and emotional well-being.
Let’s take a look at your essential chakras and their effects on our body and mind and how to unblock them to have a positive impact on your physical, mental, and emotional well-being.

What are CHAKRAS?

Chakra, a Sanskrit word meaning a “disk” or a “wheel” in English, are energy centers in our body. These disks or wheels of spinning energy each coincide with certain nerve bundles and fundamental organs.
Your chakras need to remain open or be balanced in order to operate at their best. In the state of being blocked or unbalanced, you may encounter physical or emotional symptoms coinciding with a particular chakra.
There are seven key chakras that form a line along your spine. From your root, or base of it to the crown of your head. However, there are also people who believe in the existence of 114 different chakras in the body.

The Seven Main Chakras Explained

The system of the Chakra refers to the centers of energy in our bodies. In each specific location of our spine, there resides a chakra.

The Sahasrara (Crown Chakra)

The Sahasrara, or the Crown Chakra, is positioned at the top of your head. Your Crown Chakra signifies your spiritual connection to the universe, others, and yourself. It plays an important role in your life’s purpose.

Third Eye Chakra

The chakras are believed to be wheel-like energy centers distributed throughout your body that affect well-being and perception. The third eye chakra, also known as Ajna, is considered to be the sixth chakra in the body. Some say that when open, the third eye chakra can provide wisdom and insight, as well as deepen your spiritual connecti

The Vishuddha (Throat Chakra)

The Vishuddha, or the Throat Chakra, is present in your throat. It affects our ability to communicate verbally.

The Anahata (Heart Chakra)

The Anahata, or the Heart Chakra, is positioned close to our heart, particularly in the center of our chest. Unquestionably, it is all about the ability to love and exhibit compassion.

The Manipura (Solar Plexus Chakra)

The Manipura, or the Solar Plexus Chakra, is positioned at our stomach area. It is in charge for our confidence and self-esteem, and in helping to feel the control of your life.

The Svadhisthana (Sacral Chakra)

Svadhisthana, is the second primary chakra. This chakra is said to be blocked by fear, especially the fear of death. Opening this chakra can boost creativity, manifested desire and confidence. This chakra is associated with sensuality and creativity. The primary function of this energy center is pleasure and overall enjoyment of life. When this chakra is balanced and functioning properly, we can expect our relationship with ourselves and the world to feel harmonious, pleasureful, and nurturing.

The Muladhara (Root Chakra)

The Muladhara, or the Root Chakra, is positioned at the base of our spine. It signifies the base or the foundation for life while also helping you to feel grounded and providing the ability to withstand tough challenges. The Root Chakra is responsible for your sense of security and stability.

What does a blocked or unbalanced chakra signify?

A PhD, and a yoga medicine therapeutic specialist by the name of Diane Malaspina speaks on the subject. She prefers to believe of chakras as blocked versus out of balance.

“There can be a depletion of energy flow or too much energetic activity in a chakra — each will manifest into different outcomes,” she explained.

A low energy chakra means a person may show signs of difficulty in expressing the associated qualities with that chakra.
Malaspina said that an overactive chakra means the qualities related to it are a dominant force in the person’s life with indicative effects, both physical and emotional. For instance, the first chakra is related to security, survival, and the basis of our life. If it is underactive, it can surface as depression and insecurity. If it is overactive, it can surface as fearlessness without precaution or hoarding for you need more to feel secure.

Can a blocked chakra have effects on our health ?

According to Malaspina, an imbalance chakra can have effects on the part of the body it is in close proximity to. That comprises of our organs, joints, bones, and tissues near that area. The psychological effects include emotional imbalance. Which means increase in anger, sadness, fear, or indecisiveness.
Certified Yoga Teacher and Master Reiki Healer, Guadalupe Terrones, said

“It’s important to pay attention to both the psychological and physiological sensations because they can inform each other and uncover the root cause of the experience.”

According to Terrones, when we experience too much stress, either physically or mentally, it may cause one or more chakras to be unbalanced.

Dowsing

What is dowsing and how does it work? Dowsing is sometimes also called ‘divining’. It is an ancient art that is now enjoying a revival of interest. Dowsing has mistakenly been associated with the occult by many, so that dowsers often do not talk about what they do. You may well know a keen dowser without realizing it.
However, dowsing is now being viewed more and more as a practical tool. It is being used to detect water for farmers and water boards, and to detect minerals and oil by some exploration companies. It is also used by some health practitioners either to determine what is needed for that person or to check for geopathic stress.
" Dowsing works very simply. We ask a clear and unambiguous question in our mind, to which the answer can only be “Yes” or “no”. Having asked the question, we allow the answer to come back to us from our inner self, using a predetermined code to interpret the movements of the dowsing tool to indicate whether it is a palmistry."

What Does A Dowser Do ?

Dowsers often use pendulums when dealing with individual health problems. The pendulum consists of a weight (usually made from wood, crystal or metal) suspended on the end of a string or thin wire, which the dowser holds between two fingers. The pendulum swings one way for ‘yes’ and another way for ‘no’.
The most common response is clockwise for ‘yes’ and anticlockwise for ‘no’, but different people get different responses. The important thing when using a pendulum is that the response is consistent: a particular response from the pendulum always meaning ‘yes’ and another, equally clear response, always meaning ‘no’.

Palmistry

Palmistry, also known as palm reading, chiromancy, or chirology, is the practice of fortune-telling through the study of the palm. The practice is found all over the world, with numerous cultural variations. Those who practice chiromancy are generally called palmists, hand readers, hand analysts, or chirologists.

How To Read Palms??

Palm reading, also known as palmistry or chiromancy, is one of the most highly regarded, albeit difficult to grasp (pun definitely intended). Simply put, palmistry is the art of analyzing the physical features of the hands to interpret personality characteristics and predict future happenings. Within palm reading, hands are considered portals that shed invaluable insight. But, believe it or not, understanding palm reading basics — including the life line and the love line — isn't as difficult as you may think. your future literally lies in the palm of your hand.
